Annette Blyton has extensive experience in government and resource management. Annette began their career in 2009 with the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry as a General Manager. In 2012, they moved to the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences, where they also served as a General Manager. From 2012 to 2017, Annette worked for the Australian Government in various roles, including Assistant Deputy Director and Assistant Secretary - Commercial Business. In 2017, they joined the Murray-Darling Basin Authority as the Chief Operating Officer. Annette's expertise lies in strategic planning, resource management, and government policies.

Annette Blyton completed their bachelor's degree in commerce with a specialization in accounting at the University of Canberra from 1990 to 1996.
