Ray Christy

Ray Christy is an experienced environmental health professional currently serving as the Coordinator of Environmental Health at Murrindindi Shire Council since May 2021. With a robust background in environmental health and public health, Ray has held various leadership roles, including Acting Coordinator of Health Compliance and Team Leader Health Protection at Knox City Council, and has worked in several councils, promoting public health and environmental protection. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Health from Swinburne University of Technology and a Diploma in Business (Frontline Management) from Victoria University. Ray has also led national advocacy efforts for environmental health professionals through previous presidency roles in relevant organizations.
