Carrie Straub is the Executive Director of Educational Programs and Research at Mursion. Carrie has dedicated their career to improving education and has a wealth of experience in research and project management.

Carrie began their career as a NASA Space Grant Consortium Fellow at Lockheed Martin, where they worked on a project to develop a new method for processing satellite data. After their fellowship, Carrie went on to work as the Research Director at the University of Central Florida, where they oversaw a $1.5M project funded by the Bill & Linda Gates Foundation. The project, TeachLivE, impacted 600 practicing teachers across the country.

In their current role at Mursion, Carrie is responsible for leading the team that creates and delivers virtual reality simulations for training purposes. These simulations provide a realistic and immersive experience that prepare professionals for high-stakes situations. Carrie and their team are committed to improving education and training through the use of cutting-edge technology.

Carrie Straub has a Doctor of Philosophy in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Arts in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Flagler College. Carrie also has certification in Becoming an Ally to All, Fighting Gender Bias at Work, and Inclusive Mindset from LinkedIn.
