Shelby Boagni

Shelby Boagni, SHRM-SCP, has extensive work experience in human resources and people management. Shelby is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of People & Culture at The Music Center. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) starting in 2018.

From 2016 to 2018, Shelby was the Vice President of Human Resources at Green Dot Public Schools. Shelby also served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Essia Health from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they held the title of Vice President of Human Resources at IHOP from 2011 to 2013.

Shelby's earlier career includes roles at Activision as a Senior Director of Human Resources from 2008 to 2011, a Regional Director of Human Resources at The Home Depot from 2007 to 2008, and a Vice President of Human Resources at Mars from 2005 to 2007. Shelby also gained experience as a Manager of Human Resources at Epson from 2001 to 2005 and at The Walt Disney Company from 2000 to 2001. Throughout their career, Shelby has consistently demonstrated their expertise in human resources and their ability to lead and support organizational growth and development.

Shelby Boagni, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Howard University. Shelby obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in July 2015 from SHRM.
