Wesley Brown has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Wesley started their career in 2000 as a Summer Research Associate at NIH, where they managed a project to translate a Talking Glossary of Genetic Terms for the NIH website. In 2002, they joined Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing as an Account Manager, handling Latin American accounts and generating new sales. Wesley also managed financial institution accounts in New York, New England, and Florida. In 2007, Wesley worked as an Analyst at Banco Sabadell. Then, in 2008, they joined the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for strategic budget and forecast reporting, coordination of tax filings, management of audits, and facilitating external audits.

Wesley Brown began their education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles from 1993 to 1997. After completing high school, they attended Georgetown University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Policy and International Politics. In 1999 to 2000, they participated in a study abroad program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, focusing on International Relations. Later, in 2005 to 2006, Wesley attended IE Business School to pursue an International MBA.
