Jessica Kamens

Jessica Kamens has a diverse work experience in the fields of events, fundraising, public relations, and donor engagement. Jessica is currently serving as the Director of Events at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, a position they assumed in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Donor Engagement at the same museum from July 2020 to July 2021. Jessica also has experience running their own consulting business, Jessica Kamens Consulting, where they worked as a Fundraising and Public Relations Consultant from March 2020 to July 2020. Before that, they held roles at Working In Support of Education (W!se), where they served as a Senior Development Manager from September 2019 to February 2020, and as a Development Manager from September 2016 to September 2019. Jessica also worked as a Development Associate at Sunrise Association from May 2014 to September 2016. Additionally, Jessica worked as a Public Relations and Digital Media Consultant at Jessica Kamens Public Relations from September 2011 to April 2014, and as an Assistant Account Executive at Imagine Global Communications from September 2012 to January 2013. Early in their career, they held leadership roles at the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) as the VP of Professional Development from June 2011 to June 2012, and as the Public Relations Director from September 2010 to December 2010. Jessica was recognized for their achievements at PRSSA, including being one of eight chapters selected to present at the 2011 National PRSSA Conference and improving the Mentor-Mentee Program. Jessica also served on the Public Relations and Advertising Team at UDress Magazine from September 2009 to May 2012.

Jessica Kamens attended the University of Delaware from 2008 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree. Jessica'sfield of study included Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing. Additionally, in 2011, they participated in a spring study abroad program at the University of Sydney, where they studied at the Business School.
