Lisa Boxill Ruth has extensive work experience in the areas of human resources, academia, and law. Lisa Boxill currently holds the position of Vice President of People and Culture at the Museum of Life and Science. Previously, they worked as an Academic Personnel Librarian at North Carolina State University and as the Director of Library Human Resources at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, Lisa has experience as a Law Clerk at Dechert LLP. Lisa Boxill'swork experience spans from 2001 to the present.
Lisa Boxill Ruth earned a BA degree in Philosophy and American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lisa Boxill also completed a MLS degree in Library Science from the same university. Additionally, Lisa earned a JD degree in Law from Harvard Law School.
Museum of Life and Science
The Museum of Life and Science is one of North Carolina’s top attractions. Situated on 84-acres, our interactive science park includes a science center, a butterfly conservatory which is one of the largest in the world and beautifully-landscaped outdoor exhibits which are safe havens for rescued black bears, lemurs, and endangered red wolves.
