Axelle Russo-Heath

Axelle Russo-Heath is an experienced Picture Library Manager at the Museum of London, overseeing the Picture Library during a transformative period as the museum prepares for its new opening in 2026. With a robust background in image services and intellectual property management, Axelle has worked as a Senior Picture Researcher and Copyright Permission Manager for various organizations, including the V&A Museum and Gauguin Films, where expertise in international film rights management and picture sourcing has been essential. Previous roles at the British Museum involved high-level image research and collaboration with the Photography & Imaging department. Axelle holds a Master of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arts, Aix-en-Provence.
