Jacob McMurray

Jacob McMurray currently serves as the Chief Collections + Exhibitions Officer at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), where a leadership role encompasses directing curatorial efforts and overseeing exhibitions focused on contemporary popular culture with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. With extensive experience at MoPOP from 1994 to present, Jacob has held various positions including Senior Curator and Associate Curator, contributing to acclaimed exhibitions such as "Pearl Jam: Home and Away" and "Scared to Death: The Thrill of Horror Film." Jacob also operates Jacob McMurray Design, specializing in innovative print design for notable clients, and co-founded Payseur & Schmidt and Patent Pending Press, both focusing on unique book and print projects. Educational background includes dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Danish Language and Literature from the University of Washington.
