Melinda Simms

Melinda Simms is an experienced museum professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Collections and Registration at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) since July 2008, Melinda has held various roles within the organization, including Collections Manager and Senior Registrar. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Registrar for Incoming Loans at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, from 2004 to 2008, and working as the Interlibrary Loans Coordinator at John F. Kennedy University from 2001 to 2003. Melinda holds a Master's degree in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration from Syracuse University.
