Museum of Science & History
Anthony Mortimer, MAT, EdD, has held various leadership roles in education, curatorial operations, and nonprofit organizations. With experience in educational outreach program design, exhibit scheduling, and collections management, Anthony currently serves as the Vice President of Education and Exhibits at the Museum of Science & History. Anthony is also actively involved in organizations such as the University of North Florida Alumni Association, TSI Cares Foundation, and GlobalJax. In addition, Anthony has a strong background in naval operations and planning, having served in roles such as Current Operations Officer and Operations Officer in the United States Navy. Dr. Mortimer holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida.

For over 70 years, the Museum of Science & History (MOSH), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has been part of the cultural and educational landscape in Jacksonville, Florida. Through interactive traveling and core exhibits, and engaging programs for students, families, and the community, MOSH inspires a joy of lifelong learning and brings science and regional history to life in innovative ways. With access to the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium, the Florida Naturalist’s Center, the JEA Science Theater, and the Creation Station, exciting, educational experiences are always around the corner!
