Darshita Shah

Darshita (Dipa) Shah currently serves as the Senior Director of Curriculum at the Museum of Science since July 2023. Previously, Darshita worked as an Assistant Teaching Professor in PK12 Engineering Education at Penn State University from August 2021 to June 2023. With extensive experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from May 2011 to February 2021, roles included Senior Associate Director and Associate Director for Teaching and Learning, where responsibilities involved facilitating workshops and teaching in the Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program. Earlier roles included Postdoctoral Associate for Chemical and Biological Engineering Education, Manager for Curriculum Development at the Museum of Science, and teaching positions at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Discovery Museum and Planetarium. Darshita holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
