Brian Dredla has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, where they performed for two seasons and participated in the MusiCorps program. In 2008, they joined KBAQ 89.5 FM as a Classical Radio Announcer, providing music information to a major-market classical radio audience. Later in 2008, they began working at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). Brian held several roles at MIM, including Curatorial Assistant, Curatorial Associate and Internship Program Coordinator, Curatorial Affairs Manager, Director of Education and Public Programs, and Chief Engagement Officer. In these roles, they oversaw various curatorial and interdepartmental projects, managed a team, coordinated an internship program, and led educational and donor engagement initiatives. Brian'swork at MIM also involved acting as an assistant editor for a large-scale catalog publication and managing the curatorial content for the reorganization of the museum's Europe gallery.

Brian Dredla has a diverse education history starting from 1996 until 2023. Brian began their educational journey at the University of Rochester, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, General in 1999. Following this, Brian pursued a Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree in Performance at the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2002.

Brian then went on to the Eastman School of Music, where they obtained their Master of Music (MMus) degree in Performance and Literature from 2002 to 2004. In 2013, they attended the University of St. Thomas and completed a Certificate - Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations.

Continuing their educational pursuits in the nonprofit sector, Brian enrolled in Arizona State University in 2022 and is expected to complete a Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate in 2023.

In addition to these academic achievements, Brian has acquired certifications to supplement their skills and knowledge. Brian obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in November 2019. Furthermore, Brian holds a 6SIGMA@Target Green Belt certification, although specific details about its institution and the date of acquisition are not provided.
