Lila Dougherty

Lila Dougherty is currently serving as an Associate Exhibit Designer at the Musical Instrument Museum since September 2022 and has volunteered at Liberty Wildlife since November 2021. Lila's experience includes roles such as an Enrichment Specialist Volunteer at the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center and a Solidworks Designer at Roadcase.com, Inc. Lila has also worked as a Research Analyst at Tech Mahindra and as an Industrial Designer at ContourThis, LLC. Earlier in career development, Lila participated as a CyStarters Cohert Member at the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship and served as a Research Assistant at Iowa State University College of Design. Lila started the journey in product design as an intern at Aubry Lane and the Iowa State University Memorial Union. Lila holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Iowa State University (2015-2019) and is pursuing a Master's degree in Animal Behavior and Welfare at the University of Pennsylvania (2023-2025).
