Kaira Rouer

Kaira Rouer is a versatile musician and educator currently serving as a Music Tutor with the Learning Effectiveness Program at the University of Denver, where tutoring focuses on neurodivergent students in music courses. Since June 2017, Kaira has been a self-employed freelance musician, performing in various genres, teaching, and collaborating with composers. As a Flute Teacher at In Home Music Teachers and a Flute Instructor at Musika Lessons, Kaira emphasizes modern techniques and mindful playing. Additionally, Kaira teaches English online to Chinese students with VIPKid and manages a family-run establishment, Rouer's Roadhouse, in Door County. Previous experience includes operating a cleaning service and volunteering in music education at Denmark Community School. Kaira holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Lawrence University.
