Zakya Hussain

Zakya Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Zakya began their career at Sony as a PA to the Managing Director from 1995 to 1997. Zakya then moved on to Dar Al-Taqwa, where they served as a PA to the Managing Director from 1998 to 1999. Following this, they joined ALTON-BROOKE LIMITED as an Office Manager from 1999 to 2000.

In 2000, Zakya Hussain started working at Muslim Aid UK and held various positions over the years. Zakya'sroles at Muslim Aid UK include Donations Assistant from 2000 to 2002, Donations Officer from 2003 to 2006, HR & Training Officer from 2006 to 2007, HR Training Manager from 2007 to 2011, Head Of Corporate Services from 2011 to 2018, Global Learning & Development Manager from 2018 to 2019, Interim Global Head of People & Culture from 2019 to 2019, Head of HR from 2019 to 2020, and currently, they are serving as the Head of People & Culture and Services.
