Maswood Ahmed

Maswood Ahmed is a multifaceted professional with extensive leadership experience in various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Inspireamillion since May 2015, Maswood also holds the position of Deputy Secretary-General at the Muslim Council of Britain. In addition to roles at the Bismillah Investment Group and Stop Knife Crime UK, Maswood has significant experience in the social work sector, having managed teams in children’s care services and mental health programs within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. An Imam for both the Muslim World League and London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Maswood possesses an academic background in social work and business, including multiple degrees and qualifications from prestigious institutions such as the University of Liverpool and Westminster Business School.
