Taahir Husain

Taahir Husain is a seasoned freelance editor with a diverse background in the arts and editorial sectors. Currently working at Muslim since May 2020, Taahir's previous roles include editorial assistant at Phaidon from October 2016 to October 2018, subeditor positions at Hello Mr. and THE GOURMAND LIMITED from April 2014 to July 2018 and September 2013 to September 2016 respectively, as well as a gallery administrator role at The South Asian Decorative Arts & Crafts Collection Trust in 2011, where Taahir assessed art collections for educational use. Taahir also contributed to the Corcoran Gallery of Art as a specialist researcher in 2010, focusing on the economic impact of the arts, and completed internships at Candlestar and the Corcoran Gallery's Director's Office. Taahir holds an MA in World Art Studies and a BA in History of Art from the University of East Anglia, and an Erasmus Year Abroad in Storia dell'Arte from Università di Pisa.
