MUST Ministries
Tom Johnson is an experienced operations manager currently serving at MUST Ministries since June 2023, overseeing a client service center that offers various community support services. With a background in network engineering, Tom has held significant roles at TransUnion as a Senior Network Engineer and at Georgia Technology Authority as a Senior Network Engineer, where expertise in network design and security planning was established. Previous experience includes founding Above All Videography, where skills in UAV piloting and project planning for aerial photography were utilized, and operating as Network Security Consultant at SAFENET Internet Security Services. Tom's extensive tenure at Hewlett-Packard provided a solid foundation in network and security services, contributing to numerous large-scale projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, alongside certifications in UAV operations and military training as a Firecontrol Technician in the US Navy.
MUST Ministries
For almost 50 years, MUST has established itself as a servant leader caring for those in need in the Marietta, Smyrna and Canton/Cherokee county communities. Founded in 1971 by the Rev. Wayne Williams, MUST Ministries’ initial programs included a grocery bus ministries for the elderly, a youth tutoring program and outreach ministries to "alienated" young people. Since it’s inception, MUST has fulfilled Wayne's vision of connecting people who have a desire to help with those who need help the most. Today, MUST encompasses more than 6,000 volunteers who are continually helping MUST Ministries achieve its goal of being Georgia’s most respected servant-leader.
