Gordon Colby

Gordon Colby is an experienced professional with a robust background in the life jacket and watersports industries. Currently serving as Certification Manager at Mustang Survival since September 2022, Gordon previously held the position of Design Manager at Mustang Survival/MTI Life Jackets until March 2023, focusing on product design. As President of MTI Adventurewear from January 2002 to August 2020, Gordon led efforts in manufacturing, distributing, and marketing life jackets for human-powered watersports. Prior roles include Brand Manager at Confluence Watersports and Director of Accessory Products at Mad River Canoe, where Gordon managed marketing and sales initiatives. Gordon's early career began at Camp Hazen YMCA as a Counselor and Village Director. Educationally, Gordon holds a BA in Philosophy from Colby College.
