Mathews Markose

Mathews Markose is a seasoned banking professional with extensive leadership experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Muthoot Capital Services Ltd since May 2023, Markose previously held key positions at ESAF Small Finance Bank, including Head of Retail Liabilities & Branch Banking and Head of Retail Assets from February 2019 to May 2023. Prior to that, Markose was Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, managing Branch Banking and Sales for Kerala, and served as Zonal Sales Manager for Smart Business Loans at ICICI Bank Ltd. Markose began a career in banking as a Team Leader at HSBC. Markose holds a PGCBM in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a BSc in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University.
