Thomas Muthoot

Thomas Muthoot serves as the Whole-time Director and Executive Director of Strategic Planning at Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. since 2006, specializing in microcredit and microsavings with a focus on innovative financial products for the masses. Muthoot has also been the Managing Director of Muthoot Microfin from January 2010 to January 2025 and previously founded Muthoot Technopolis, establishing Kochi's first IT park recognized by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. Additionally, Muthoot held leadership positions in Muthoot APT Ceramics and Muthoot Capital Services Ltd, where significant strides were made in ceramic manufacturing and two-wheeler loan verticals, respectively. Thomas Muthoot holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Kerala Law Academy Law College and completed high school at Infant Jesus Anglo Indian School.
