Samuel Howell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Samuel started their career as a Bar Staff at The Bull Inn in 2008 and later worked as a Bar Staff at Greene King in 2011. In 2011, they also worked as part of the Overnight Team at Hollister Co. From 2012 to 2013, Samuel worked as a Sales and Operations Analyst at IBM United Kingdom Ltd.

In 2014, Samuel joined UHY Hacker Young as an Accountant, where they worked towards the ICAEW qualification. Their responsibilities included producing statutory annual accounts and tax returns for corporate clients, as well as performing statutory and external audits. Additionally, they gained experience in the public sector, working as a Management Accountant and assisting in the development of Theatre Efficiency Models for NHS organizations.

From 2017 to 2019, Samuel worked as an Audit and Accounts Senior at MHA MacIntyre Hudson. In this role, they conducted audits and prepared financial statements for clients.

In 2019, Samuel became the Finance Manager at SCC, where they gained experience in managing finances and overseeing financial operations.

Since 2019, Samuel has been the Head of Finance at Lounge Underwear. As the first finance hire for the company, they were responsible for setting up the finance function. Their achievements include leading the finance team during a period of high growth and implementing changes to improve financial processes and reporting. Samuel also developed monthly forecast models, managed cash levels, and reviewed bank reconciliations.

In 2023, Samuel will join Mutt Motorcycles as the Head of Finance.

Samuel Howell attended the University of Surrey from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Mathematics. Samuel also obtained a certification named ACA from ICAEW, although the specific month of achievement is not provided.
