Michael Mathews

Michael Mathews has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael served as the President of Mutual Credit Union from 2011 onwards, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the credit union and implementing technological enhancements to provide competitive banking options. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President at Regions Bank/AmSouth Bank from 2004 to 2011, where they managed the branch network and led the Human Resources functions. Michael also served as the General Manager of Metro Air Conditioning and Heating from 2006 to 2008, successfully launching a start-up business and achieving significant sales growth. Additionally, Michael Mathews has a background in the military, having served as an Operations Sergeant in the Army National Guard from 1992 to 2004, where they were a liaison for Presidential Security Details. Michael also worked as a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors from 1999 to 2001.

Michael Mathews obtained a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from The University of Southern Mississippi from 1996 to 1999. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance at Mississippi College from 2009 to 2012. In 2015, they obtained the certification of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) from the CUES Certified Chief Executive Institute.
