Shelley Giordano

Enterprise Integration at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage

Shelley Giordano is an experienced professional in the fields of finance and retirement planning, currently serving in the Enterprise Integration role at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage since January 2019. Giordano co-founded the Academy for Home Equity in Financial Planning at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where Giordano also holds a position. As Co-Chair of the Funding Longevity Task Force, Giordano has been instrumental in hosting the Housing Wealth in Retirement Symposium, fostering discussions on utilizing housing wealth in retirement planning. Additionally, Giordano authored a continuing education course for CFP professionals and is an active speaker through the Retirement Speakers Bureau. Previous experience includes a role as AVP at Wells Fargo, focusing on joint ventures. Giordano holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from William & Mary.
