Cherie Sheriff

Cherie Sheriff is a highly experienced data management professional with a strong focus on data governance, tokenization, data quality, and data discovery. Currently serving as the Data Management Team Lead at Mutual of Omaha since May 2021, Cherie has also held key roles such as Consulting Data Intelligence Architect, Principal at Phoenix Cybernetics, and Data Consultant at Waterloo Data. Previous experience includes positions as Data Intelligence Engineer at BNY Mellon and Database Engineer at Kasasa, with a track record of significant contributions, including ensuring HIPAA and SOC2 compliance and optimizing complex ETL processes. Cherie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science from the University of Oxford and has cultivated leadership skills through active involvement in Toastmasters International.
