Ciaran Toner

Ciaran Toner has extensive work experience in the legal and financial sectors. Ciaran currently holds the position of Head of Compliance at Muzinich & Co since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Davy as General Counsel from 2018 to 2021. Ciaran also served as Legal Counsel at Citco Bank Nederland N.V. from 2010 to 2018. Ciaran started their career as an Associate at Matheson Ormsby Prentice in 2007 and then worked as a Solicitor at Noel Smyth & Partners from 2003 to 2007. Ciaran began their professional journey as a Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1999 to 2003.

Ciaran Toner's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at University College Dublin and pursued a Bachelor of Civil Law degree, which they completed in 1999. Following this, in 1999 they attended the Irish Taxation Institute where they obtained an Associate degree in Tax, concluding their studies there in 2002. In 2002, they also attended University College Dublin once again, this time to acquire a Diploma in Employment Law, which they earned in 2003. Lastly, in 2014, Ciaran Toner enrolled in the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland to pursue a Professional Certificate and Diploma in Compliance, an ongoing program with no specified end year.
