John Rogers

John Rogers has more than 30 years of experience in politics, public policy, business, and government affairs. John has served on the MV Transportation Board of Directors since 2015. He is also CEO and Founder of Capstone National Partners and RL Leaders.

A keen sense of understanding to where collaboration will be most effective in unlocking conventional thinking, and finding solutions for government and business applications, are what make John stand out. He spends considerable time working on how to apply different technologies and research vectors to policy challenges.

John has a deep understanding of government, Congress, the Executive branch, and Defense policy issues— having served as a Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, a Congressional staff aide, manager of numerous political campaigns, advisor to politicians and celebrities, and head of a Government Affairs firm. He is a member of several non-profit and business boards and is an avid painter who lives in Wisconsin, spending his time in LA and Washington DC. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
