Robert D. Katz

Robert D. Katz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in military leadership and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at The SPECTRUM Group since February 2023, Katz previously held a similar position at MVSEA until August 2023. Katz's distinguished career in the US Navy spanned over three decades, culminating in the role of Commander of the Expeditionary Strike Group, overseeing a significant contingent of 12,500 Sailors and Marines. Additional leadership roles included Director of Fleet and Joint Operations, where oversight involved 90,000 personnel and complex maritime operations, as well as Division Chief for Program Budget Analysis. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Seminar XXI degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
