Torbjörn Schön

Torbjörn Schön has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Torbjörn began their career at Netcom Advisor AB as a Key Account Manager, Product Manager, and Sales Manager from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they founded Communica Datadistribution AB and Online Retail Nordic AB in 1997, where they served as CEO until 2010. As CEO, they focused on distributing value-added tech products in areas like mobile communication and peripherals.

In 2011, Schön joined Netgear as the Regional Director for the Nordics, where they managed sales, distribution, marketing, and sales engineering. Torbjörn was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and managing key customers and distributors.

In 2012, they founded Executive Consulting AB and Madicon AB, offering mentoring for CEOs and strategic assignments as CEO. Torbjörn worked with organizations such as Swedish Defence, SUP46, Net1, and GTT.

From 2013 to 2014, Schön served as an interim Channel and Alliances Manager at Interoute Nordics, focusing on unified communication and cloud alliances with companies like Microsoft, HP, NetApp, and Symantec.

At Dustin Group, from 2014 to 2017, they served as the Head of Product and Category Management, overseeing a team responsible for driving sales to B2B and B2C customers.

From 2018 to 2022, Schön joined Ingram Micro, starting as the Director Value and Cloud Business, responsible for multiple business units including Advanced Solutions, Specialty, and Cloud. Torbjörn was then promoted to Director Cloud and Software Business, managing a team of cloud specialists, marketing managers, and customer success managers. Finally, they took on the role of Director New Business Development, focusing on strategic transformation and market analysis.

Most recently, Schön joined MW Group in 2022 as the Chief Executive Officer of MW Cyber, where they lead the company's cyber-related operations.

Torbjörn Schön obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Dalarna University in 1993. In 1991, they received training at the Swedish Armed Forces' Parachute Ranger School. In 1989, they attended Soltorgskolan, where they completed a Technical Collage program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Over the years, they pursued various certifications and programs related to leadership and business development. This includes completing the Digital Acceleration certificate program at Hyper Island in 2017, obtaining an NLP Practitioner certification from NLP Network in 2017, and participating in courses such as Understanding Group and Leader (UGL) at Credensa in 2008 and Developmental Leadership at Försvarshögskolan in 2007. Additionally, they completed a Ph.D. project on leadership development at Karolinska Institutet in 2008 and undertook a board member course at Grant Thornton in 2009. Torbjörn'srecent education involves attending the Novare Leadership Academy's Board Program - Framgångsrikt styrelsearbete, for which they received a certificate of completion in 2023. Torbjörn has also pursued additional certifications in business development and marketing through LinkedIn Learning in 2020.
