Sydney Hubbard is a Senior Research Specialist at mWater since May 2023, with extensive experience in environmental health and epidemiology. Previously, Sydney served as a Doctoral Candidate at Emory University from August 2018 to May 2023, focusing on the efficacy of water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions in urban, coastal Mozambique for the dissertation. Sydney's prior roles include Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, contributing to the impact evaluation of the Lusaka, Zambia Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage Project, and various epidemiological positions with Médecins Sans Frontières. Sydney holds a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from Emory University, a Master's in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Emory University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton.
