Jim Magats

Jim Magats is the CEO of MX, a financial technology company. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the payments industry, including stints at Arthur Andersen and E&Y/Capgemini. Jim has a proven track record of improving payments operations and issuing systems for clients such as ABN Amro Bank, Visa, Conoco Phillip, and Lane Bryant. Jim also has experience in securitization transactional audit services, provided to Advanta Bank while at Arthur Andersen. Jim is a thought leader in the payments space and is frequently quoted in the press on issues related to payments, fintech, and banking.

Jim Magats graduated from Auburn High School. Jim then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they earned a BS in accounting. Jim later attended Villanova University.
