Mike G.

Mike G. has worked in the tech industry since 2010. Mike began their career as a Technical Consultant at NSI Technology, and then moved on to become a Software Developer at Neon Stingray. In 2012, Mike G. took a secondment from Neon Stingray to become an Android Consultant at Google. After returning to Neon Stingray, they became the Lead Android and Backend Engineer at Maxwell Forest Inc. in 2014. In 2015, Mike G. moved on to become a Senior Android Engineer at Vivant, followed by a similar role at CoinJar. Mike then returned to Maxwell Forest Inc. as the Lead Android and Backend Engineer, before joining PwC Australia as the Lead Mobile Developer for Digital Ventures. In 2016, Mike G. took on the role of Android Tech Lead at Cochlear, and then in 2018, they became the Head of Data & ML at mx51, where they also held roles as Engineering Manager (Data & ML), Data Architect, and Senior Data Engineer.

Mike G. attended The University of Auckland from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science.
