Polly Brodie

Head Of Development Kitchen at My Food Bag

Polly Brodie has extensive work experience in various roles within the food industry. Polly started their career as a Duty Manager at Dockside Bar and Restaurant in 2006, where they worked until 2009. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Public Health Dietitian and Health Promotion Advisor at Regional Public Health. In 2011, Polly joined Motor Yacht Sirona III, initially working as a Chief Stewardess before becoming a Sous Chef from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014, they have been affiliated with My Food Bag, progressing from Recipe Developer and Test Kitchen Chef to Development Kitchen and Nutrition Manager, and finally assuming the position of Head of Development Kitchen.

Polly Brodie's education history begins in 2003 when they attended the University of Otago and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Human Nutrition. Polly completed their undergraduate studies in 2005. Following this, in 2006, Polly attended the University of Otago again, this time to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics, which they completed in 2007. After a gap of several years, in 2012, Polly enrolled in the Ashburton Cookery School in Devon, U.K. to earn a Diploma in Cookery.
