Twanda Wadlington

Twanda Wadlington, DrPH, MPH, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Development and Executive Director of the MHMR Foundation since July 2018, also holding the title of Director II - Grants & Development. In addition, Twanda is an Executive Director at the MHMR Foundation since October 2022 and contributes as faculty for the DrPH Public Health Doctoral Committee at Walden University and as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Texas. Academic roles include Faculty at Columbia Southern University and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Memphis. Past experience includes directing campus health initiatives at LeMoyne-Owen College, managing regional campaigns for the American Heart Association, coordinating cancer coalitions at Middle Tennessee State University, and serving as a research consultant for the Tennessee Department of Health. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Public Health and a Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Fisk University.
