Kartik Aggarwal

Kartik Aggarwal has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and computer science. Kartik is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at AffiniPay/MyCase, where they serve as a technical lead and builds financial products for various brands. Kartik also led a team to successfully integrate an acquired document automation product into MyCase. Prior to this role, Kartik worked as a Software Engineer at MyCase, where they played a key role in developing MyCase Accounting from scratch. Kartik utilized their expertise in SQL and relational data modeling to write complex yet efficient queries. Kartik also contributed to the overall architecture of the application using Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and TypeScript.

Before joining MyCase, Kartik gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences and as a Software Engineer at AppFolio, Inc. At AppFolio, they developed impactful features such as an application-wide chat software and a machine learning guild for customer churn prediction. Kartik won a company hackathon with a project that was subsequently shipped to customers. Kartik also had brief stints as a Software Engineer at Boston Capital and as a Computer Science and Information Systems Tutor at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York. Kartik began their career as a College Assistant at John Jay College (CUNY).

Kartik Aggarwal completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, attending from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from The City University of New York, studying from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, Kartik also obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2019.
