Ramkumar Nair

Ramkumar Nair is the CEO of Mycorena, a research and innovation driven technology company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Ramkumar has a background in research, having worked as a researcher at the University of Gothenburg and as a research fellow at CSIR- National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST). Ramkumar has also worked as a graduate researcher at National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health (NCAAH) and at ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT).

Ramkumar Nair has a passion for making sustainable fungi-based protein, while reducing waste and water usage at food and agriculture industries - using Mycorena's innovative Circular Economy model! Under their leadership, Mycorena is making great strides in fulfilling its mission to create a more sustainable future.

Ramkumar Nair has a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Borås, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University. Ramkumar is certified from Svenskt Gastekniskt Center AB in Gas Akademin Summer Course 2014, IVL in IVL waste management course 2014, and World Intellectual Property Organization in Certificate course on Intellectual Property.
