David Wangai

David Wangai has a comprehensive work experience in the financial industry. David served as the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director at MyCredit Limited from April 2022 to the present. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Operations Officer from February 2021 to March 2022 and the General Manager from January 2018 to January 2021. David also held the position of Head of Credit in the same company from January 2017 to December 2017.

Before joining MyCredit Limited, David was the Head of Business Banking at Rafiki Microfinance Bank from January 2013 to December 2016.

David Wangai completed a Senior Leadership Management Program in Organizational Leadership at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2019. In the same year, they also completed a Senior Leadership Management Program in Senior Management at Strathmore University. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in MBA with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
