Lead Developer at Mydoma Studio

Colleen Davis has worked as a web developer since 2003, starting at the University of Canterbury. There, they acted as the primary developer of UC's web front end, using HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery to create and maintain responsive web sites. Colleen also developed and maintained Dreamweaver templates for responsive, mobile-friendly web pages and applications, as well as a variety of JQuery scripts.

In 2015, they joined 2degrees as a Developer, where they created and maintained RESTful e-Commerce API in Node.js with integration of multiple vendor systems, data sources and databases, and developed full-stack web solutions with Node.

Most recently, in 2020, they joined Mydoma Inc. as a Lead Developer. In this role, they designed and built RESTful APIS in NodeJS with MongoDB, promoted change from monolithic code to leaner architecture supported by microservices and custom NPM packages, developed infrastructure solutions in the AWS cloud, and developed and automated unit, functional, and integration testing of developed software components with Mocha/Chai.

Colleen Davis has a diverse educational background. In 1998, they earned a Diploma in Internet Technology from Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. Colleen then attended Auldhouse Computer Training, where they earned a Microsoft 6427A in 2009. In 2008, they completed a Practical Project Management course from IMNZ - Institute of Management New Zealand. Colleen also attended Ace Computer Training Center, where they earned a Microsoft 2717B in 2005. In 2003-2004, they completed an Advanced Certificate in Object Oriented Programming from Computer Power Institute. In 2005, they earned a Microsoft 2310B from Ace Training, and in 2019, they completed a ReactJs and Typescript course from Udemy Alumni.
