Andrew Downing

Andrew Downing has extensive experience in commercial finance leadership within the retail sector, currently serving as General Manager Commercial Finance at MYER since October 2012. In this role, Andrew oversees the Commercial Finance Function, providing strategic business partnering to senior leadership across various business units including Merchandise, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations. Andrew's career includes previous roles as Head of Commercial Finance and Finance Business Partner at MYER, as well as finance management positions at Coles and Coles Myer, contributing to significant reporting and analysis for a $20bn+ business. Andrew began a professional journey at PwC, managing diverse client portfolios and assurance jobs. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and is a Chartered Accountant with ICAA. Notably, Andrew has received recognition for team performance, including the 2016 Myer Support Office Team of the Year award.
