Dan Tamkin

Dan Tamkin is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in the lower middle market sector. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Resurgent Capital Partners since June 2016, Dan leads a team focused on investment in performing companies and special situations. Currently serving as CEO of Sonant Corporation and holding board positions at multiple organizations including Myers Media Group, LLC and Unified Dispatch LLC, Dan has a strong track record in corporate development and technology acquisition, notably as the Corporate Development and Chief Technology Officer at Transdev North America from 2011 to 2016. Dan's mentoring role at Techstars Mobility and previous experience at The Stage Fund further highlight a commitment to fostering innovation within the mobility and transportation sectors. Dan holds a BA in Business/Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
