Sam Cox

Sam Cox has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as a Server at Silver Spoon Catering & Bistro in 2012 and then transitioned to the role of Server and later Concierge at The Heights at Columbia Knoll. In 2014, Sam worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Crossroads Church Portland. From 2014 to 2021, they joined YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, where they held various positions including Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Interim Marketing Director, Director of Media Marketing, and Director of Awareness. In 2021, Sam gained software engineering experience at Software Engineering Applications, working as a Front End Software Engineer and a Backend Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at MyFitnessPal.

Sam Cox completed their education in a chronological order. In 2009, they enrolled in Truckee Meadows Community College where they pursued General Studies. Sam attended this institution until 2010. Afterward, from 2013 to 2015, Sam Cox studied at Mt. Hood Community College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Integrated Media with a focus on Graphic Design. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, Sam attended Hack Reactor, specializing in Full Stack Software Engineering.
