Annie McCrea, CSPO, CSM has over a decade of experience in the Quality Assurance field. Annie started their career in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative at the Australian Electoral Commission. In 2005, they moved to Eos Airlines as a Sales & Marketing employee. In 2007, they became a QA Analyst at Ryan Partnership, followed by a QA Analyst role at G2 Direct and Digital in 2008. Later that year, they joined Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as a QA Analyst/Project Manager. In 2011, they were hired as a QA Lead, Technology & Product Engineering at Time Inc. In 2014, they began working at Priceline as a Senior QA Analyst. During their tenure, they researched and implemented a test management tool (Adaptavist) to improve manual and automated test scripts while creating a cohesive test execution process across hotel technology teams. In 2019, they became a Software QA Manager at WorkStride, where they provided direction to project management, new product launches, QA strategy, vision, and goals. Most recently, in 2021, they joined MyHealthTeam as a Software QA Analyst/Technical PM, where they create social networks for millions of people living with chronic conditions.
Annie McCrea has a Master of Arts degree in Graphic Communications Management and Technology from New York University which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Annie also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Multimedia Development & Management from The College of Westchester, obtained between 2005 and 2007. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology was obtained from Fordham University between 2000 and 2004. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained certifications in Unconscious Bias (2022), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) (2020), Programming Foundations: Fundamentals (2020), Persuading Others (2020), Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) (2018), and Introduction to Selenium (2014).
