Johangel Báez

Johangel Báez has a diverse work experience. Johangel started their career as a Pasante at EDENORTE, S.A. in January 2017. Johangel then went on to work as a Telecommunications Specialist at the same company from May 2018 to May 2019. From May 2019 to November 2021, they served as an Information Technology Security Specialist and later as the Encargado de Seguridad de la Información. Johangel joined My IT Crew in November 2021 as a Cyber Security Engineer and is currently working there. In December 2022, they were promoted to the role of Technical Alignment Team Lead.

Johangel Báez has a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. In 2018, they also received a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. In 2019, Johangel pursued a Diplomado en Ciberseguridad (Diploma in Cybersecurity) from Universidad APEC. In 2020, they completed a Diplomado (Diploma) in Hacker Ético (Ethical Hacking) from ITLA. Additionally, Johangel has obtained various certifications, including NSE 1 and NSE 2 from Fortinet in 2019, and multiple certifications related to cloud sales and cloud tech fundamentals from Acronis in 2022.
