Laning Andrews, M.D.

Laning Andrews, M.D. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Starting in 2013, Dr. Andrews worked as a Gardener at Custom Gardens Organic Farm until 2020. In 2014, they became an Emergency Physician/Owner at Frontier Medical Associates, Inc., where they played a crucial role in assisting Nye Regional Medical Center's recovery efforts. Laning continued their career as an Emergency Medicine Physician at North Tahoe Emergency Physicians from 2016 to 2021. In 2019, Dr. Andrews co-founded Lig & Ceptor and served as a Co-Founder until 2023. Laning also held positions as a Medical Director at Pyramid Lake Fire Rescue/EMS Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, North Lyon Co. Fire Prot. Dist., and Ready. Additionally, they worked as a Nevada Medical Director/EMS Director/Lab Director at Ready. Most recently, Dr. Andrews joined myLaurel in 2023 as an Associate Medical Director.

Laning Andrews, M.D. began their educational journey at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1986 and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies, Medical Ethics. Following this, they attended the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine from 1991 to 1995 and obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Laning Andrews, M.D. became a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in October 1998. They also obtained their Emergency Medicine Board Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in the same month and year. Furthermore, Laning Andrews, M.D. acquired their Nevada Medical License from the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners in August 1998. Lastly, they obtained their Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2019.
