Francesca Tana

Francesca Tana is a highly skilled microneedles process engineer currently employed at MyLife Technologies since January 2021. Prior to this role, Francesca served as a Production Technician in R&D at Glass to Power from January 2019 to October 2020, focusing on the production scale-up of luminescent quantum dots for solar concentrators. Francesca's experience in product development as a Specialist at NextMaterials s.r.l. from September 2016 to January 2019 included work on functional ceramic thin films. Francesca holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where research involved the synthesis and characterization of ceramic nanomaterials and included a visiting research period at uOttawa. Additional experience includes technical roles at British Petroleum Italia and the University of Milan, culminating in a master's thesis on rhenium fluorescent compounds for OLED applications.
