Herve Sarteau

Herve Sarteau comes with over 25 years of experience spanning the fields of consulting, business development and investment management. Until recently, Herve served as Senior Partner for CarVal Investors, a leading Alternative Asset Management firm with over $10 billion under management, which he helped develop over the last 15 years, and where he held a range of executive responsibilities including global governance and strategy, as well as direct product line management across multiple geographies. He brings with him extensive portfolio management and transactional experience as well leadership in corporate and business strategy.

Herve has lived and managed businesses in the US, UK, France and Switzerland, having worked for Cargill, Hewlett Packard and Andersen Consulting in his early career. He also serves on the board of Zivix, a Minneapolis start-up, the global board of Opportunity International, a Microfinance organization, as well several of its banking affiliates. Herve holds both an MS in Engineering and MBA from INSEAD in France. Herve and wife Jennifer live in Arizona.
