Cllr Daniel Butler is a seasoned professional with experience in health and community services, currently serving as the Health & Wellbeing Improvement Officer at the Health Service Executive since September 2022 and as Chairperson of MyMind Centre for Wellbeing Limerick since May 2017. Active in local governance, Cllr Butler has held positions as Councillor for Limerick City and County Council since June 2014 and has served as the Metropolitan District Deputy Mayor. Cllr Butler has also contributed as a Non-Executive Board Member of Limerick Twenty Thirty DAC and as Chairperson of the Mungret CC Board of Management, among other roles. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Studies in Human Resources Management and a Diploma in Drug and Alcohol Studies from the University of Limerick. Additionally, Cllr Butler has completed further qualifications in Leadership in Health & Wellbeing in the Workplace.
