Thomas Fletcher attended Lake Forest High School from 1979 to 1981, where they obtained their high school diploma. Thomas then enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1981 to 1985, majoring in Speech Communications and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Thomas later pursued further education at the same university from 1990 to 1991, specializing in Entrepreneurial Studies, and obtained a Certificate in Business Administration.
