Alex Khvastovich

Alex Khvastovich has over eight years of work experience in software quality assurance. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Myndshft, where their technical scope includes HL7 FHIR, Web Automation with Cypress, Testcafe, RESTful API, Postman, SQL, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, NodeJs, BitBucket, Git, ClickUp, and Jira. Alex is responsible for building QA processes from the ground up, and ongoing stories verification for multiple teams in SCRUM and Kanban methodologies.

In 2019, Alex worked as a Course Creator and Instructor at Careerist.

In 2018, they worked at United Power as a QA Manager and Lead QA Engineer, with a technical scope that included JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Blockchain, GraphQL API, Insomnia, and Nightwatch.

From 2013 to 2012, Alex worked at Quantenna Communications as a Senior QA Engineer, where their technical scope included WFA Certification, Web Automation with Selenium, Java, Python, SQL, Linux, Ixia Chariot, Azimuth, WLAN, IEEE Wi-Fi 802.11n/ac, TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, MU MIMO, and QoS. Alex also developed and administrated a network suitable for testing, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.

Prior to that, Alex worked as a Quality Assurance Consultant at uTest from 2012 to 2013. Theirtechnical scope included Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows, Linux, DevTools, SQL, VMWare, WEB, API, HTML, CSS, XML, Selenium, Jenkins, and Bugzilla. Alex was responsible for developing test cases for core functional and integration testing of the application, as well as executing ad hoc and structured test cases at all the stages of the software development life cycle.

Alex Khvastovich has an Associate of Science in Computer Programming from Great Basin College (2019-2021). Alex also has a Certified QA Specialist from Software QA Certification in Mountain View, CA (2012). Theiradditional certifications include Certified PC Pro from TestOut Continuing Education (2020), Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (2019), Blockchain and Cryptocurrency from Stanford University (2019), and IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers from Coursera (2018).
